We can't wait to kick off the 2026-27 school year on Wednesday August 12th for our Kindergarten through 6th grade students! Doors will open for car riders at 6:50 am. Please review our pick-up/drop off map so that we can keep traffic flowing on Hwy. 87. Utilize the traffic circle located behind the building if the drop off line is full. We appreciate everyone's patience as we work through the first few days of school!
Also, review the start/dismissal times for the 2026-27 school year. Our school day will begin at 7:20 am. We will dismiss at 2:25 pm. If you have any questions, please reach out to the school at 270-646-2236.

Summer break can remove students from consistent academic learning for as long as ten weeks — a gap many education experts consider too long. Teachers, parents, and researchers all recognize that “summer learning loss” is a real concern. Without regular academic engagement, students can lose up to two months of progress in reading and math skills during the summer months. As a result, teachers often spend several weeks in the fall re-teaching previously learned concepts, which delays the introduction of new learning. Because of this, many parents actively seek opportunities to keep their children academically engaged throughout the summer.
Summer Solutions was created as a natural extension of the Simple Solutions approach — a proven strategy that combines strong instruction, retrieval practice, and ongoing assessment to support long-term learning. Students who use the Simple Solutions method in their classrooms have shown significant growth in academic achievement, confidence, and standardized test performance in mathematics, language arts, and other subject areas.
Due to Election Day, there will be No School on Tuesday, May 19th. School will resume on Wednesday, May 20th.
Tomorrow is Field Day! 💦☀️
Students will be participating in water games and activities throughout the day, so they WILL get wet!
Please make sure your child brings:
*a full change of dry clothes
*a towel
*a bag to bring their wet items home
