ATE Families, Bridge, KY (1411 N Race St) in Glasgow is open 24/7 as a warming area for families in need. The Glasgow-Barren Co. YMCA will be open tomorrow (1/26) during their scheduled business hours if families need a place to go. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have needs! Ready, Set, Grow University is for 3-5 year olds who are NOT currently enrolled in a preschool program. This program is for a parent and child to come together to help them be better prepared for Kindergarten. Children will have the opportunity to experience classroom activities such as saying the Pledge of Allegiance, crafts to help develop fine motor skills, circle time, and lots of other fun activities! Signups for the ATYSL Winter Volleyball Season have been extended until December 31st! This year, the Girls League will feature 3 divisions: Division 1- 2nd and 3rd Grade, Division 2- 4th and 5th Grade, and Division 3- 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade!

The ATYSL is also offering a Boys League for this year! Come be a part of one of the fastest growing sports for young men! The Boys League will feature 2 divisions: Division 1- 2nd and 3rd Grade and Division 2- 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade. We will need 21 boys for each division. If there aren't enough participants, money will be refunded.

Congratulations to ATE 6th Grader Karlee, McGuire, ATE 4th Grader Saylor Byrd, and the rest of the Barren County Middle School Cheerleaders for earning a Runner-Up finish at the KAPOS Middle School State Cheerleading Championship! These students have put countless hours into working on their stunts and routines! Great job, Karlee and Saylor!

Serve! Set! Spike! Over the last few weeks, our students have been working on their volleyball unit during their PE time! Their work culminated in our annual tournament featuring all 3rd through 6th grade homerooms! Congrats to Mrs Barnett’s 6th Grade homeroom for earning the title of AT Volleyball Classic Champs! We are so proud of all of our students and the sportsmanship they showed each other throughout the tournament! The fun isn't over yet! Mrs. Barnett's homeroom will be taking on the undefeated AT Staff Squad at tomorrow's morning meeting!

Congratulations to our Eagles that competed at the 6th Grade Showcase hosted by Eastern Elementary! Students from Monroe County Middle School, Eastern Elementary, Temple Hill Elementary, and Austin Tracy Elementary competed in a variety of academic competitions. Our Eagles were great representatives of our school, and brought home some hardware!!! 🥈Runner-Up Quick Recall Team- Brentley Ellis, Lilah Gruber, Reese Jones, Maddie Sneed, Derrick Warner, and Asa Young Brentley Ellis- 🥇1st Place Math Assessment and 4th Place Arts & Humanities Assessment
