On Thursday April 2nd, we will be hosting our families for Easter Lunch and Egg Hunts. The cost for families will be $5 per lunch. As Spring break and the close of the school year draw near, we wish to share significant end-of-year dates with families. Specific information regarding these events will be shared closer to time, but we wanted families to have a chance to save these dates on their calendars! We look forward to celebrating with our students!

Hungry knights and scholars can enjoy hot dogs, chips, and a special treat. All knights who finish at least 4 of the 6 stations will have the opportunity to enter a royal prize drawing for a chance to win a treasure! Before your quest ends, be sure to visit the Book Fair, which will be open throughout the evening. We can’t wait to see our Eagle families for a night of math, merriment, and medieval adventure!

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we are conducting a survey in partnership with Studer Education to monitor our progress in creating a positive school experience for you and your child(ren). Your feedback is crucial in helping us identify areas for recognition and improvement.

As a result of last year's survey results, we have worked hard to improve communication with our families about where your student(s) are in their learning. This why we have had two rounds of parent-teacher conferences this year, and have encouraged teachers to communicate academic progress. We believe in having meaningful, honest conversations about how we can work together to help students be successful!

The survey will ask you to select the school your child(ren) attends. Providing feedback to each school should take a few minutes to complete. We appreciate your willingness to celebrate the great things that are happening at ATE while also sharing your thoughts on our areas of growth! Read Across America Week is NEXT WEEK! We are excited to celebrate Read Across America Week with a fun-filled week dedicated to building a love of reading! Students will enjoy special activities, stories, and themed days that make reading come alive. Don't forget to join the fun by participating in our daily dress-up days! (There is no dress up day scheduled for Friday, as this is a teacher contract day.)

BCMS Cheer will be hosting open gyms beginning on March 4th. Open gym will be held each Wednesday (4:30pm-5:30pm) at Extreme Gym B in Glasgow. This opportunity is for any current 4th-7th grader that is interested in trying out for the BCMS Cheer Team! If you have questions, please reach out to drew.settle@barren.kyschools.us.
